So as promised, here it is!

Well I bought this book. I decided to try it out and see and it had a lot of good things to say. So I guess its always a good thing to keep an open mind about things. I found another good book simply because I read this one. Francine recommends to read "Material World by Peter Menzel" -I don't have the book yet, put its on my Amazon wishlist.

But I can't wait, it looks really good. But I'm glad I gave it a chance, it had a lot of good things to read and it was different from other minimalist books, she had a down to earth voice in the book and I liked that. Although sometimes the whole minimalist/simplicity movement bugs me at times because *some* of them are too pushy or think they're better. Now that I think about it, I would have missed out on another great book had I not read Francine's book.

So I guess I learned its always a good idea to keep an open mind even if you already have an opinion about something.

That book is on my "oooh-aaah that looks good" list.
My minimalist journey is going pretty okay. Many boxes and bags of things have left the house and no regrets yet. (Okay at one point there was a sweater I felt sad about, then I remembered that I gave it away because it hung funny on me and looks much better on my friend, so it was all good)

I actually bought this book on your recommendation for Christmas (both myself, and two relatives living in far away lands…) and it's already worked wonders for me, and is slowly working its way round my circle of friends. So, thanks for the recommendation!
