You don’t need to own everything to enjoy it

Think about services, going to restaurants, renting a car or a boat for a day

These are all things you don’t need to own (chef, car, boat) but you can certainly enjoy.

Being tied to your stuff can be painful.

Why not just rent or borrow it?

The flexibility of not having to keep and store those things or maintain them is really freeing.

How about tools for example?

When are you going to use that jigsaw on a daily basis? Never, if you’re not a carpenter by trade!

So rent or borrow it when you need it and just give it back when you’re done.

To me, it’s truly a minimalist mindset to consider the usage of items without actual ownership.

Maybe it’s the reason why I’m such a die-hard renter. 🙂
