Our careers have a significant impact on our perspectives

I say this, because BF and I are both consultants.

As a result, we’ve both lived out of suitcases for a long periods of time without fixed addresses.

We’ve stayed in tiny hotel rooms with a kitchenette, small bathroom and tiny living/sleeping area.

In fact, the hotel room that I am in right now, has a 50% larger living and sleeping space than our current studio.

So when we stay in a studio with the bare minimum, it feels perfectly fine because we’re used to it.

There just isn’t space for anything else that isn’t used on a daily basis.

Perhaps as  a result, we’ve grown accustomed to not having unnecessary furniture or decorations, and we feel at home with what little we pack in our suitcases.
