Minimalist Comic – Stuff No One Told Me: The weight of things

This wonderful comic comes from the blog Stuff No One Told Me, which I read on occasion when people share interesting comics.

His comic: “The Weight of Things“, details out almost the same process of how and why I got into minimalism, except I wasn’t moving to another continent, nor did I hate my life at the time.

If you are interested, you can read more about my motivation of why I became a (not-extreme) minimalist here and why I continue make the choice to stay a (not-extreme) minimalist.

BF and I have cut it down to 2 suitcases and 2 carry-ons each, but not 3 suitcases in total! 🙂

For the record, I DO NOT think anyone should pare down on their things as much as BF and I have. We live unusual lifestyles, and we choose to pare things down to the levels that we have because of the fact that we move and travel so often.

You can choose NOT to do what we do, but still be intrigued or interested in becoming a semi-minimalist.

Certainly, there are times where I think: Gosh I wish I had another suitcase or 3…. 😛, but ultimately, I don’t really need that stuff, and I find the pros of less stuff more appealing than having yet another [insert item here].

Hope you enjoyed the comic as much as I did.
