Bento Box: The answer to minimalist food

When I make lunches, it is usually a one-tub sort of meal. You know, pasta, rice with meat and veggies and so on.

It is only on occasion that I need to bring extras that cannot be put into the meal before I actually eat it (sauces, dressing, garnishes) so I always end up bringing a huge TRUCKLOAD of food to work, to the amazement of my co-workers.

Enter: The Bento Box

(…and big thanks to a reader Christiane from Europe for the idea)

Can you imagine if I brought in a lovely bento box like this to work and didn’t have to only bring meals that mixed everything into it at once?

Oh yes please.

You could even make your food look pretty by arranging it beautifully..

What do you think?

Have you ever thought about bento boxes as a way to bring lunches to work?
