We didn’t really eat in the restaurants because frankly, they were overpriced for what they were serving.

So we made our own tapas in the hotel room for far, far cheaper.

I am afraid you did not have the right addresses in Madrid to try our gastronomy at best prices…..

I love the food markets in Madrid. I don’t agree on overpriced restaurants though. You get really good food for a reasonable price in Spain. Of course some restaurants, especially in the tourist area are overpriced. But you don’t have to go far to get good quality for money.
I love eating the local food when I’m travelling, it is a big part of the experience!
