Beijing – Yonghegong Lama Temple

I love temples. I just love them, so I can’t stay away from one if I see it on a map.

This one is a temple that was lovingly restored by Buddhist nuns, and it has since turned into a tourist attraction, so China decided to make it an official place on the map to visit.

Along the way, there are a ton of incense-sellers that stay in business just from the sheer volume of pilgrims coming in to pray.

People buy lots of incense to burn at the temple.

Surprisingly loud for a temple. Not at all peaceful..

NOT Chinese. Someone translate? :)

I love this shot of this man. I just wish that other tourist wasn’t sitting beside him. Grr!

They’re fixing the temple…
