The Colours of the World’s Flags

Media designer Shahee Ilyas has created pie charts showing the colors of the flags of over 200 nations.

The Life and Times of Michael5000 notes that the color violet/lavender/purple is notably absent from world flags (as is gray)

Umm… actually flag #5 from the top left looks a bit purple to me. Or is that blue?

Still, where’s bright Magenta pink? :) Not World Flag colour worthy?

I always thought that the blues were kind of purple-y, but in an inky purple.

LOL, yes — #5 totally is purple.

(The others all look pretty blue to me, though!)
