WHAT IS IN SARA’S WALLET

Bag #1: Purse

My purse, which I carry everywhere, contains:

Wallet and its contents:

  • Two debit cards
  • License
  • Library Card
  • Insurance Cards (regular and dental)

Other:

  • Cell phone
  • Small notebook
  • Pen
  • Tampon
  • Chapstick
  • Bobby pins
  • Supermarket silver coins
  • Keys (not in photo, but usually in bag)
  • Hat and gloves (when it’s cold)

Bag #2 (optional)

As I often walk to work, I carry a cloth bag for my lunch.

What’s included here is pretty representative of what I’m usually carrying, give or take the mug (I leave it at work for several days) and a piece of fruit or two.

The water bottle is essential. The pyrex and silverware add a little bit of extra weight, but I’m anti-plastic and try to keep its presence in my life to a bare minimum.

A LITTLE ABOUT SARA

Poet, wonderer, reader, cat-lover, amateur gardener, I like the smell of freshly cut grass and cilantro, hanging my laundry out to dry, afternoon naps, and strong coffee.

My writing has been published in various small journals (read “The Ideal Loosens” and “Birds to the Left“). I’m also an avid cook, and blog about food at The Psychedelic Turnip. Follow me on Twitter or Facebook.

Life More Lived is about creativity, minimalism, and simplicity. It seeks to find joy in the small, pleasure in the everyday, peace in what is. It is about living in a way that is sustainable, for both yourself and for the planet.

Life More Lived is not location independent, but I travel a lot. I have a part-time day job and a mortgage. I don’t count my possessions, though I love reading about the 100-thing challenge. To me, minimalism is about giving up the unimportant and unessential in order to live a full and magnificent life.

Minimalism can help simplify and organize your life, career, & physical surroundings. You can read more about me as a minimalist.
