Design: A Bookshelf and a Desk with Two Chairs

Very cool. I like it when things do double duty!

There are actually two chairs (in the second photo you can see the second chair tucked in on the right).

I just wonder how practical it is to keep having to remove your books and things every time you want to sit down and use the chair.

Nevertheless, still an interesting design.

    This is wonderful design, practical and spacy. What could be added is elastic tape on chairs and can stored blankets or chair cushions.

    That’s really cool but I see your point around having to move stuff all the time, though heavy cookbooks might add stability to the chairs :)

    You get 4 shelves for permanent use, which is 4 more than any other table and chair set. Of course you’d have to choose what to store in the chairs pretty carefully – not too heavy, not too wobbly…

    I suppose you should only stack books in the covered area, where there is no “hole”.
