Tomorrow is Today

Yes, that’s Dita von Teese. I wish I had the picture credit.

When we do things for the future, like make plans or save money for retirement, we are doing things for The Tomorrow, but in reality, we’re doing it for The Today that will soon come.

This was something quite difficult, even philosophical for me to grasp at first, but if you think about it, everything we do Today is for Tomorrow’s Today.

This is why you shouldn’t put off things.

You want to save. You want to get out of debt. You want to quit your job. You want to travel to Asia and see something outside of your comfort zone.

Then do it.

Make a plan for Today, for Tomorrow’s Today, or else, the chance for the perfect “Today” to start your goals will never come.
