2010 GROWTH IN REVIEW

I started this blog on January 16th 2009 with “Why sleeping on a futon rocks“.

Has it really been almost 2 years? I can’t believe it.

This year:

Traveled to England and France
Moved twice to two different apartments in 2009
Moved 19 times to 19 different hotel rooms in 2010
Found my minimalist voice in blogging
Scheduled posts until the end of 2011, so I’m not going anywhere

I have no goals for 2011. I just want to take it as it goes and see how things pan out.

As for my Twitter account @brokeinthecity, Website Grader tells you about it too and the account ranks at 99/100 as well.

Note: It can’t “find” the account for this blog because Twitter won’t let you add more than one website to your profile, so I can’t really get the true stats.

WHAT IS MY BLOG WORTH?

That’s just for fun. I don’t think I have a lot of commercial appeal, seeing as I am saying to SPEND less.

Wow, I'm also impressed by you having your blog posts scheduled for an entire year… I can't even manage week to week with my schedule. I suppose I could cut out a few minutes every day to write for the next week and schedule myself that way. How did you manage to get enough for the year, if you don't mind sharing tips?

Just wanted to say "thanks" for your blog. I love it, and realised I have never told you. I'm thrilled to know that there are posts for at least the whole year – don't know what I'd do without you. It's lovely to know there are like-minded people out there.

Woah woah woah – wait a minute – are you saying that you already have posts scheduled for the entire year? Because if that's the case, that's freaking insane. I'm working on this same post for Debt Sucks right now, so, uhh…. yeah, I'm stealing things. Thanks!

    Again, insane. I can't even come up with content for next week, nonetheless a year and a half out. Of course, another problem is that my blog heavily deals with my own personal current events, unlike yours, but even time-insensitive posts I have a lot of trouble with. If I could keep my goal of writing one post a day, I'd be in pretty good shape like you. How the heck do you do it?
